Tommy McFly Speaks at the 2023 Easter Egg Roll

In this photograph by Matthew D'Agostino, Tommy McFly speaks in the reading nook at the White House Easter Egg Roll on April 10, 2023. McFly served as the official emcee of the Easter Egg Roll while the reading nook, which hosted story time with several special guests speakers and authors, was temporarily erected in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden. The theme for the 2023 Easter Egg Roll, which was hosted by President Joseph R. Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, was a return of "EGGucation," which Dr. Biden also selected in 2022. Activities at the annual celebration included the traditional Easter egg roll and egg hunt, special guest readers in the reading nook, costumed characters, food, and arts and crafts, among other educational activities. Muraoka read the Sesame Street-based book, "The Great Easter Race" to a group of children gathered.
